Yë Këzō Qo̠ was founded durring the late 17th century in early spring of the year 1580, by Brandwen Ghosegrael Phomageet. The establishment of Yë Këzō Qo̠ was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Brandwen Ghosegrael Phomageet electing to pay people to resettle in Yë Këzō Qo̠.

Yë Këzō Qo̠ was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Yë Këzō Qo̠ is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Yë Këzō Qo̠ is is constructed arround a semi-circular premissive baked earthen mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city is in posession of a finaly crafted dwarvern style fortified fighting wall, completer with lower, middle, and upper battlments for use in sloped-fire defence stratagies, murder holes, and statues which may or may not be constructs, and, of course, MERTICULATIONSshortsizename is one of the wealthiest and politicaly connected settlments in the world.. Yë Këzō Qo̠'s Ragnarock-era relics has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around Yë Këzō Qo̠ has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine with the simple fact that it is abundantly clear Yë Këzō Qo̠ suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had. Everyone quietly goes about their daily business not looking anyone in the eye. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Yë Këzō Qo̠ long.

Cultural Notes

Yë Këzō Qo̠'s town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Yë Këzō Qo̠ was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Yë Këzō Qo̠. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Yë Këzō Qo̠ lost 198 people, 394 livestock, and 81 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 195, when members of Yë Këzō Qo̠'s militia enacted an operation to assassinate an enemy noble. The operation was complicated by the army being put into a position where they could only choose between two terrible options. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a stalemate for Yë Këzō Qo̠'s forces. The war is remembered in legend by Yë Këzō Qo̠'s bards, historians, and legend keepers.
